Amazing! Amazing! My kids are going to go crazy for this. So easy to assemble and easy to use. Great quality. This is going to be great for the family. Have been looking for a good quality one for beginnings and this is totally it. Thanks!
Nice little telescope for kids or someone who is getting started in looking at sky. This is a table top model so the tripod does not extend out very far, but that helps keep it compact it size. I felt the quality was good for this type of telescope at this price point. The kids have loved it so far and it good to see them researching what they are looking at.
I bought this as a Christmas Gift for my niece. She absolutely loves it! She is fascinated by the moon and the stars and this telescope was perfect to encourage her enthusiasm. It was nice that it came with a little chart of constellations and a map of the moon as well.
I think this is a good scope for beginners but, I had a bit of trouble with assembly. My son seemed to have more patience and he got us up and running lol! The kids enjoy it. I did take it outside to see the moon and it was nice to to experience it in such close view.
Instructions just cover 2 or 3 points and that's it! Everything else is by intuition and trial and error. The tripod is a joke and junk. The plastic parts stick when trying to adjust pitch and azimuth making it impossible to fine adjust to find Jupiter or any other planet. A person without patience would give up and throw it in the trash. DEFINATLY NOT FOR KIDS UNLESS THEY ARE A GENIOUS...
For a kid/beginner product, this telescope does not look like a toy. It looks the part. The assembly was easy and it’s easy to figure out how to use it. There are several attachments, which is a nice. Making it feel like a serious telescope for my girls. The first night out, we were able to see Jupiter and it’s four moons. The Jupiter is only a bright spot, but it was cool to distinctly see the four moons around it. The short tripod works fine on table for the kids, and I will be putting it in my camera tripod to give it some weight. Overall, looks serious, high quality, and a nice gift for my girls to get them interested in stars.
